Surgery

We acknowledge the fact that undergoing surgery requires special care for both you and your pet. At Creedmoor Road Animal Hospital, we strive to make the surgery process as easy and stress-free as possible. You and your pet’s comfort is our greatest concern! Combined, our doctors have over 60 years of surgical experience and we have access to on-site surgical specialists.

Prior to surgery, we will go over details of the procedure, pre-surgery instructions, and complete any necessary examinations, bloodwork, or radiographs. During surgery, each patient is carefully monitored by the attending veterinarian, veterinary assistant, and surgical monitoring equipment. As soon as the procedure is complete, you will receive a call from the doctor or veterinary assistant that will give you an update on your pet and arrange for a discharge. At discharge, all post-op instructions will be explained in detail.
